I contacted Smart Choice after reading few but excellent reviews. First, I hired them to finish the basement of a house I bought in Hazel Park in May 2023.
I can’t say enough good things about Genti and his crew. He showed on time and finished the job as he promised ( 1 week) he even underestimated the amount of job needed but didn’t charge me anything extra. We were so happy with his job that hired him right away to install the floor and we are looking forward to hire them to do full bathroom in the months to come. I only wish I had met them before because as a family we had moved 16 times in the past 30 years and had 9 homes and never had such a smooth experience than with this guys.

We had the company come in to paint the ceilings throughout our home and complete some drywall repairs. We have a 2 story great room with some drywall that was bowing out. When they came to complete the job they found a much larger problem causing the drywall to pull away. They had to completely replace a large section of drywall. After completed we could see that additional work was needed to eliminate uneven portions where the old and new were put together. They returned to complete the finish. The additional work doubled the time to finish the job but they did so without charging more. They were respectful and on-time everyday. I would recommend them and will certainly call them again when I am ready to start my next project.
